What do you do? Jason and I had plans to travel to South Florida this weekend for a reunion with some folks from our old church. Didn't work out...so we lounged in the pool, went to play pool on Friday night, ate at Shane's Rib Shack...more about that later...and then today after lounging in the pool again, we went to The Parade of Homes. We saw three homes but only one really impressed. It was a remodel...$1,200,000.00 in Golden Eagle. Then Mexican for dinner, golf on TV and back to our routine tomorrow. Floating in the pool all afternoon Friday was the perfect therapy...I told Jason it was my "mental health" day. Work has been wild with the DL/NW Merger Integration. So much training, so much to do to be ready. I really needed a break. I think staying at the Clearview Court B&B was the best weekend retreat. It was certainly the most stressfree get-a-way. So next time your plans fall through...look for the blessing in whatever you do.

plans fell through? bummer! although, sounds like you all had a good weekend. i'm jealous you got to see the renovated home in golden eagle....you'll have to tell me about it.
I will...I was really bummed until I remembered the Parade of Homes....LOL....and was able to convince Jase to "go with". You would have loved the Summerbrooke home and the 1,200,000.00 was quite a place. Nice neighborhood...golden eagle....very very very nice. Beautiful homes in there for sure.
