Certainly a highlight of our trip to North Carolina was the side trip to Mars Hill for the football game on Saturday. Here I am with the STAR Quarterback, Ricky Spradling. Mars Hill won. For those who remember Ricky back in Boca...he has grown into the nicest young man. He is a great quarterback, too. We had a fun tailgate party with the Spradlings before and after the game. I will include some additonal photos later. Just got home and must UNPACK and do laundry before returning to work tomorrow.

Football games are so much fun.
My sister graduated from Mars Hill...and this summer I found out that my grandfather Sprinkle's family were instrumental in starting the college. Am thinking scholarship time for my kids.
It was a really nice little campus. We had so much fun at the game and tailgate. Ricky graduates this year. The announcer said a prayer before the game, I liked that. The ride from Elk Park was beautiful, too. All of the leaves at their peak.
